in my 30’s. I’ve always had a love an appreciation for fashion design. I have so many potential ideas and designs in my head that I really would like to see come to life. Have I waited to pursue my hidden passion. What can I do about it?

Just do it, time is not relative. I went back to school in my 30’s, so far it’s been rewarding. I am the same age as many of my professors, but honestly I am getting an entirely different level of education then my classmates. I have questions, so I am not leaving class until they are answered. I would think a course would be good for you. Most art schools offer part time night classes. They have a fashion department at my school. The only problem you may have training yourself in fashion is stitching. You will be required to make a book of known stitches. And doing that without a teacher may be hugely difficult. I would definitely buy a few books, take a night course.
