Question by khadijah: Hi, What US schools grad can I have a double major in Fashion design and Business Administration?
I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting with no Fashion design background. Fashion Design is me and for once I would be doing this for me. What are my chances as an international student.

Since you already have a degree in business (in accounting, specifically), I’m not sure that you need to get another undergraduate degree in business. I think you’ll be fine as you are, on that subject.
For fashion, though, you want to try to get into the best fashion school possible. It’s a highly competitive industry with way more students than there are good jobs, so you want to go to a great school, make strong networking contacts, do some interships/co-ops in the field, and come out with a very strong portfolio. Thus I recommend the following schools, which may not have business as a major, but do have very strong fashion design programs:
– Fashion Institute of Technology, in NYC
– Parsons School of Design, in NYC
– Otis College of Art and Design, in Los Angeles
From these schools, you can actually get fashion jobs.
A very popular, but not very good, fashion school is FIDM, in Los Angeles. I don’t recommend it, and it’s so well known (but again, not good) that I must call it out and warn you a bit.
